Tysons Sad Bad Day
$9.99
A little boy named Tyson was feeling very sad, it was one of the worst days that he had ever had. And so begins this delightful story that leads a child through the honest feelings of confusion, fear and uncertainty with the death of someone dearly loved. But it doesn’t stop there- it leads the reader on to understanding and acceptance. Test-read to children 4-8, the response was similar each time- a whispered “That is a good story.” In this day and age with so many suffering from cancer and other diseases, it isn’t always grandparents and older people who die. It is my hope that this book will help ease frank discussions and provide the means of comfort on a child’s level that will help both child and parent. The conclusion which Tyson reaches at the end of the book is one that brought real comfort to me when it was presented at the funeral of my husband of 39 years when I felt I wasn’t finished with him yet either.
Although Tyson’s Sad Bad Day is Smith Meyer’s first published children’s book, it isn’t the first time she has written a story to fit an occasion. Since reading books often helped her through personal challenges, stories are a logical way for her to reach out to help others through their own. Tyson’s Sad, Bad Day is presented thus.

Arcade And The Fiery Metal Tester
$16.99In Arcade and the Fiery Metal Tester, New York City is experiencing the hottest summer on record. Eleven-year-old Arcade Livingston can’t keep his cool after receiving this suspicious warning atop the Empire State Building: “Things will heat up in all areas to test your mettle.”
In no time flat, Arcade is tested like never before to use the Triple T token’s powerful ways to outsmart a bully, find a place for his best friend to live, and spy on some pesky villains from the 1900s. Meanwhile, sister Zoe thinks controlling the token is nothing but a path to disaster.
One thing’s for sure, the token continues its flashing and pulsing. And elevator doors continue to transport Arcade, Zoe, and their friends to meet different people in strange locations–people who will challenge them, teach them, and inspire them to grow in patience and compassion.
And just as a trip through a fiery furnace is necessary to purify gold, the token leads Arcade through superheated situations to test the purity of his heart.
Read as part of the series or as a stand-alone novel! Arcade and the Fiery Metal Tester is the third book in the humorous and imaginative Coin Slot Chronicles series by New York Times bestselling author, former NFL running back, and Dancing with the Stars champion Rashad Jennings.

All Things New Study Guide (Student/Study Guide)
$10.99Add to cartAll Things New is a revolutionary four-session video Bible study built on a simple idea: heaven is not the eternal church service in the sky. It is, in fact, not religious at all. Jesus referred to the next chapter of our story as “the renewal of all things” (Matthew 19:28). This means, literally, the renewal of the earth we love in all its beauty, the renewal of our own being, and the renewal of all those things that make for a rich life-music, art, food, laughter. All that we hold dear shall be renewed.
Most Christians (and most people, for that matter) do not really look forward to their future because their views of heaven are vague, religious, and appallingly boring. Our hope begins to surge when we understand that for the believer nothing is lost. Heaven is not a life in the clouds; it is not unending worship services with singing. Rather, the life we long for-the paradise Adam and Eve knew-is precisely the life that is coming to us. And coming soon.
This study begins with a reframing of what “heaven” actually looks like. God does not say, “I am making all new things,” He says, “Behold-I am making all things new!” (Revelation 21:5). Familiar religious conceptions of heaven are gently dismantled, and the participant is invited into a new way of conceiving of their after-life. Imagery from fairy tales, books, and famous movies such as The Lord of the Rings is used to illustrate what “happily ever after” means in tangible, accessible, and-most important-desirable terms. As C.S. Lewis said, “We can only hope for what we desire.” The life we have been longing for is actually the very life that is about to be ours. The imminence of the coming kingdom of God is also clarified; living with an eager expectation of Christ’s return is the practical power of the Christian life.

Fresh Wind Fresh Fire (Expanded)
$18.99Add to cartThe times are urgent. God is on the move.
Pastor Jim Cymbala believes that Jesus wants to renew his people-to call us back from spiritual dead ends, apathy, and lukewarm religion. Cymbala knows the difference firsthand. Back in the early 1970s, his own church, the Brooklyn Tabernacle, was a struggling congregation of twenty. Then they began to pray, God began to move, and street-hardened lives by the hundreds were changed with the love of Christ. Today, they are nearly ten thousand strong.
This well-loved book shares the story of what happened to this broken-down church in one of America’s toughest neighborhoods points the way to new spiritual vitality in the church and in your own life. Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire shows what the Holy Spirit can do when believers get serious about prayer and the gospel. As this compelling book reveals, God moves in life-changing ways when we set aside our own agendas, take him at his word, and listen for his voice.
In this new edition, Cymbala will update some of the classic stories, including that of his own daughter Chrissy Cymbala Toledo. He will talk about how the church has grown and how God helped the church move from its location on Flatbush Avenue to a larger facility that the growing church couldn’t “afford.” And it is so appropriate that the church meets in a building that was once a theater, as God is dramatically reshaping the life stories of so many people who encounter Christ and the power of the gospel. This message of hope and transformation continues.
