My Strength And My Defense Classic Journal
$16.99
The My Strength & My Defense Brown Faux Leather Classic Journal makes a bold statement on the source of our strength: the lion of Judah! This brown flexcover journal is an excellent gift for men and women of all ages. The artistic design has universal appeal, and the quality is second to none. The lion elicits a sense of power, courage, boldness, and authority, kingly characteristics associated with a lion.
This impressive journal features a majestic heat debossed lion that spans across both the front and back covers. The attention to detail of the design is phenomenal. It is set on a background of dark brown faux leather that has a vintage feel. The lion is not seeking to attack or devour, but rather it stands calm and resolute with the power of a king. The sentiment is heat debossed on the front cover.
The LORD is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.
Exodus 15:2
A brown satin ribbon marker will mark your journaling page so that you can easily locate it, and the pages are gilt-edged in gold for an extra touch of regal luster. The ideal thickness of this journal’s 366 lined pages minimizes the potential for bleedthrough from ink and ballpoint pens. A Scripture at the bottom of every page can be used for a journal or prayer prompt. The journal includes a presentation page for gift-giving.
The My Strength & My Defence Brown Faux Leather Classic Journal is part of The LORD is My Strength Collection that offers a coordinating faux leather bookmark and Bible cover for a themed gift.
The stunning My Strength & My Defense Brown Faux Leather Classic Journal is a fabulous gift for any person on your gift list. It would be appropriate for any occasion such as birthdays, Christmas, or just to let a friend or loved one know you appreciate them.

Starred Review. New York Times columnist Kristof and his wife, WuDunn, a former Times reporter, make a brilliantly argued case for investing in the health and autonomy of women worldwide. More girls have been killed in the last fifty years, precisely because they were girls, than men were killed in all the wars of the twentieth century, they write, detailing the rampant gendercide in the developing world, particularly in India and Pakistan. Far from merely making moral appeals, the authors posit that it is impossible for countries to climb out of poverty if only a fraction of women (9% in Pakistan, for example) participate in the labor force. China’s meteoric rise was due to women’s economic empowerment: 80% of the factory workers in the Guangdong province are female; six of the 10 richest self-made women in the world are Chinese. The authors reveal local women to be the most effective change agents: The best role for Americans… isn’t holding the microphone at the front of the rally but writing the checks, an assertion they contradict in their unnecessary profiles of American volunteers finding compensations for the lack of shopping malls and Netflix movies in making a difference abroad. Devotions On The Greek New Testament Volume Two
$18.99Add to cartDevotions on the Greek New Testament, Volume Two contains an entirely new set of 52 devotions written by over 25 of today’s best biblical language scholars. Contributors include Christopher Beetham, Jeannine K. Brown, Peter H. Davids, David A. DeSilva, J. Scott Duvall, Nijay Gupta, Frederick J. Long, David W. Pao, Anthony C. Thiselton, Cindy Long Westfall, and many more. The main point of each devotion in Devotions on the Greek New Testament, Volume Two comes from a careful reading of the passage in the Greek New Testament, not from an English translation. The authors use a variety of exegetical approaches in their devotions – including grammatical, lexical, rhetorical, sociohistorical, and linguistic – and each devotion closes with a practical application or spiritual reflection. Devotions on the Greek New Testament, Volume Two contains a devotion on every book in the New Testament and can be used as a weekly devotional or as a supplemental resource throughout a semester or sequence of courses. These devotions will inspire you to keep reading and meditating on the Scriptures and find new treasures from the biblical text.

Walking In Truth In A World Of Lies
$15.99Add to cartYou and I are being lied to on a regular basis. In fact, our entire culture is riddled with duplicity.
Scripture warns repeatedly of deception on a massive scale in the Last Days, so why are Christians seemingly so unconcerned? Has their access to theological information and their acceptance of orthodox doctrine caused them to believe they are impervious to being deceived?
There is only one way to stay safe from the deceiver’s powerful lies: We must allow the “love of the truth” to hold sway in our innermost being. Only then will we be capable of Walking in Truth in a World of Lies.
